STL Editor Online terms of use
Use the tools to work with models you are entitled to process. Check the output before relying on it.

Your files and responsibilities
You retain your rights in your models. You are responsible for having the permission needed to process them and for complying with applicable laws. Local processing does not transfer ownership of your files to this project.
Geometry and manufacturing
The tools are provided as available, without a guarantee of fitness for a particular use. STL has no physical unit metadata; coordinates are interpreted as millimeters unless you choose inch input in the STL to 3MF converter. Binary STL export uses 32-bit floating-point precision. A 3MF download declares millimeters. Simplification is lossy; SVG sections are mesh contours, not CAD-exact cutting instructions. Mesh checks do not certify a solid, detect all self-intersections or verify manufacturability.
Check dimensions, orientation, surface integrity and slicer output before printing or manufacturing. Do not rely on these tools alone for safety-critical, medical, structural or regulated work.
Availability and limits
Basic tools are free in this version. Features and file limits may change. The workspace supports one model at a time, up to 25 MiB and 400,000 triangles. Browser memory and hardware can impose lower practical limits. No account, payment or subscription is required.
Saving your work
Models and history are temporary. Export your changes before navigating away or closing the page. Keep your original STL and verify the exported file independently.
